What does ReWaste process?
ReWaste uses anaerobic digestion and can accept a range of organic wastes, including:
- Fats, oils and grease (for example, grease trap waste)
- Food processing waste
- Cooked food waste from restaurants
- Dairy waste e.g. cheese whey
- Animal processing waste
- Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) sludge
- De-packaged spoilt liquids
- Process upset wastes.
We cannot accept non-organic waste – for example, plastic, glass, metal – or hard materials such as shells, bones, tree branches, etc.
We are also unable to accept waste contaminated by antiseptic, antibacterial and other antimicrobial agents, or toxic or hazardous materials.
